The Whispering Page is a woman and family-owned independent bookstore and café bar in the heart of Old Worthington. 

We’re passionate about two things: books and community. When you stop by, we hope you’ll stay awhile – grab a drink, browse the shelves, curl up in a cozy spot, and chat with us about the stories you couldn’t put down. And we hope you’ll come back soon for your next great read or to attend one of our events or to host your book club in the comfy room upstairs.

We’re obsessed with all things written – stories that whisper to you long after you close the pages, beloved children’s books we recite from memory, fascinating histories, glorious poetry. We love it all, so we stock it all. And we’d love to help you find your next read, so stop in for some recommendations! Our booksellers live for this.

We proudly serve beans roasted by Florin Coffee in Clintonville. Enjoy it hot or as nitro cold brew from our tap.

Wine, Beer, & THC Drinks

We’re pouring beer from Zaftig and Wolf’s Ridge Brewing. Our wine is sourced from Aardvark Wine & Beer. And our non-alcoholic Appalachian Girls THC drinks have Worthington roots.

Baked Goods

Our bakery case is stuffed with scrumptious sweet and savory treats from two Worthington bakeries: The Little Dot and Mrs. Goodman’s.
